Haute Parfumerie: Alchemy of the senses

Imagine a hot summer's day in the mountains. The rocks are heated by the sun, you can hear the bees buzzing. But suddenly dark clouds gather in the sky, a thunderstorm is brewing and a few minutes later it unloads with pelting rain. The smell of damp forest soil and wet herbs is in the air - you can literally smell the mountain thunderstorm. "We had these images in mind when we created 'Terra', our latest fragrance," says Claudio Zier. The ex-advertiser, in his mid-fifties, fulfilled a dream exactly six years ago together with his childhood friend Patrick Stebler and launched his own perfume label, "ODUR". Since then, they have created four niche fragrances: "Pinus", "Ervas", "Calma" and "Terra". Four fragrances that all carry the DNA of Graubünden.
