OUR STORY

Odur means fragrance in Romansh and has been the brand name of our fragrance creations and part of our story since 2017. We are Patrick Stebler and Claudio Zier, two friends who promised each other at a young age to cultivate our friendship for a lifetime. This is how an exciting and never-ending journey into the world of fragrances began early on.

"With our fragrances, we want to create a connection to our roots in Graubünden, to our friendship and to nature."

The result is five fragrances with a strong character that do not come from the world's major perfume metropolises, but from the imposing mountains and valleys of the Swiss Grisons, passionate and unique - PINUS, ERVAS, CALMA, TERRA and SUVI.

A decisive milestone on our path was our meeting with the renowned perfumer Giovanni Sammarco, who lives in Switzerland and has been implementing our fragrance ideas with great passion and knowledge since our beginnings.

Our perfumes are all produced, packaged and shipped with love and passion in Switzerland. We are a perfume manufacturer in the truest sense of the word.

OUR FUMES

Our fragrances are absolute niche fragrances. High-quality, unique, consisting of up to 80 percent natural ingredients and up to 35 percent perfume oils. They belong to the extrait de parfum category, the most intense form of all perfumes. As a rule, extraits de parfum contain between 18 and 20 percent fragrance oils. As "Intense" they can even contain up to 40 percent. This is why we find these fragrances to be pleasantly intense and long-lasting. So if you perfume yourself with our fragrances in the morning, you'll still have some in the evening!

Our fragrances are unisex, just like all niche fragrances! For us it is clear: when it comes to perfumes, only the nose counts!

OUR PERFUMER

We were celebrating the opening of Patrick's new perfumery Stebler in Chur when we both met Giovanni Sammarco. We soon realized that we had found the right perfumer for our long-awaited desire to create our own fragrance line. Giovanni combined the traditional art of perfumery with a love of Switzerland, which we fell in love with instantly.

Although Giovanni cannot really answer the question of how he came to the art of perfume after completing his doctorate in civil law and was simply following his passion and intuition, he made a conscious decision to move to Switzerland. He had dreamed of moving to this country one day since his youth.

Because of its landscape, the unique nature that never ceases to amaze Giovanni, the friendliness of the people and the peace and quiet that he finds everywhere and needs so much.

What began with an interesting conversation in Odur Parfum's current flagship store developed into a successful and extremely fruitful collaboration. The shared vision and passion for the quality of the fragrances and the conviction that only the best raw materials should be used form the foundation of our collaboration:
